Oh, Gary was golfing yesterday.
We had a scrummy filet mignon dinner at home
on the grill and watched my new very favorite
movie, JUNO! Hadn’t seen it yet. I loved
every single second of that movie!!
How many of you know what “Twitter” is?
I didn’t think so.
It’s another time waster, really and it
seems to be taking off.
I’ve added my “twitter” to this blog
on the right hand side. It’s a way for
everyone to know what I am doing NOW.
I haven’t decided if I will actually
connect it to my iPhone yet, but I’ll
let you know. For now, I’m just sort of
playing with it.

i’ll admit, i don’t fall victim to
most things but this was too funny
and i wanted to introduce you to 3
kids that gary and i love down in
playa del carmen mexico.
i sent them the link and i’m postive
that they will think that their virtual
snowball fight is pretty cool!
hi indiana, jose maria & talisman!!
today we will meet up with a bunch of friends
at axel’s in chanhassen. each Christmas eve day
they open the bar and take donations and donate
all tips to a local children’s charity.
axel’s has been purchased by another group and
will most likely not be able to do this in the
years to come…kind of a bummer! end of an era!
in any case, we love going there on Christmas eve
before heading off to all of our families homes.
it’s become a chanhassen tradition. this year
we will pick up my mom and bring her along.
anne & pete don’t live far from there so will
haul all the goodies with us in our sleigh and
have a Christmas “bump” on the way.
we got more snow yesterday and it blew around like
crazy and drifted quite a bit. definitely a
white Christmas this year!!!

thanks for all the wonderful responses to my
recent photo shoot with my niece (see “j’s big shoot”).
we really had a great day together, first coloring
hair and then heading to the big city for a fun
‘america’s next top model’ sort of shoot!
she adores fashion, being in front of the camera
and this will be her focus in life. not her life
just her focus!
oh, and next time….we will take her cell phone
out of her front right pocket. it’s new, therefore
it’s on her constantly!
this morning i have the distinct pleasure to return
to the house of fun & fur! 
yes, jane and i are going
to pour over her proofs and select some greeting card
images. i know that i have my favorites! but this is
her project, she would just like my input.
i’m going to bring my camera along in hopes of getting
a couple shots of betty…sweet thing.
so for now, i will sign off.

today is my nephew, ben’s, birthday.
he turns 15. i saw him last night
when i stopped to see anne & pete’s
new furniture and i totally forgot
to say anything to him!!
they are going to valley fair today
with a bunch of folks! it’s going
to be a super hot one today with
tons of humidity. all the water ride
lines will be a mile long!
