Ask Susan what she does for a living and she’ll tell you, “I get to capture and preserve time for FABulous people just like you!”

Susan, a hairdresser for many years, started out shooting film with her trusty Minolta. She photographed friends, family, friend’s families and her interests quickly grew into portraits and weddings. It was people that she felt the deepest connection to and so she continued to capture folks on film while working in her salon.  Now this lead to an interesting marriage of vocations, in that her existing clientele would soon begin to watch her grow as a photographer as well, by being exposed to her work on the very walls that surrounded them. As a matter of fact, some of her first photography clients had already been big fans of hers for years.

Susan has managed to keep the businesses separate but confesses that she enjoys having that edge over the competition-what bride wouldn’t like a hairdresser to  accompany them on their wedding day or what about those High School Sr. sessions?

Susan adds, “People spend a lot of time and money preparing for Weddings and Portraits. It only makes sense to invest in capturing all of it and preserve it for generations to come.”

Married to Gary, they reside in the southwest suburbs of Minneapolis and love their Red Point, Birman, Boo!
